What We Offer at Carthage Imaging

We provide a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging services for patients of all ages in Carthage and the surrounding area. Whether you’re here on a referral or self-scheduling routine imaging, our team handles your scan with care, accuracy, and efficiency.

X-Ray

Digital X-ray imaging for bone fractures, chest conditions, joint evaluation, and soft tissue concerns. Fast, low-dose, and available same day at our Carthage location.

Ultrasound

Diagnostic ultrasound uses sound waves to produce real-time images of organs, soft tissue, and blood flow. It’s a non-radiation imaging option used for abdominal, pelvic, vascular, and other evaluations.

Echocardiogram

Cardiac echocardiography (echo) uses ultrasound to evaluate the structure and function of the heart, assessing valve function, chamber size, and cardiac output to support your cardiologist or primary care provider’s diagnosis.

Bone Density Scan (DEXA)

DEXA bone density scanning measures bone mineral density to screen for osteoporosis and assess fracture risk. Routine screening is recommended beginning at age 65, or earlier for patients with clinical risk factors.

Low-Dose Lung Cancer Screening

Annual low-dose CT lung cancer screening is recommended for high-risk adults aged 50-80 with a significant smoking history. Early detection dramatically improves outcomes, and you don’t need to drive to a hospital to get screened.

Imaging Without the Hospital Experience

You’ve been told you need a scan. Here’s why patients in Carthage and the surrounding area choose us over driving to a hospital radiology department.

01

Same-Day Appointments

Hospital radiology departments can require weeks of lead time for routine imaging. At Carthage Imaging, same-day scheduling is available for most services. Get your scan done, and get the answers you need.

02

Your Results Go Straight to Your Provider

When you’re referred by a Sacry Family Medicine provider, your imaging results are shared directly with your care team. There are no records chasing or delays in follow-up. If you’re referred by an outside provider, we coordinate results delivery to them as well.

03

A Comfortable, Clinic-Based Setting

Services at Carthage Imaging take place in a calm, clinic-based environment, not a large hospital with long check-in queues. We’ll get you in and out efficiently.

04

Most Insurance Accepted & Self-Pay Discounts Available

We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most major commercial insurance plans. For uninsured patients or those paying out of pocket, we offer discounted self-pay rates so the cost of imaging doesn’t become another barrier to getting answers.
